All Lathrop Elementary students will attend our annual FFA Ag Day at the fairgrounds tomorrow, September 18. Each grade level will attend a 45-minute session sometime during the school day.
Students and staff will walk the trail from Lathrop Elementary to the fairgrounds and will walk the trail back to school following their session. Please make sure your child wears comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing that day.
This event is for students and school staff only.

LES picture day is tomorrow morning, Friday, August 28!
We had a wonderful first day of school! Our students did a great job learning and practicing routines, getting settled in, and having fun seeing new and old friends. Below are a few important reminders about school arrival & dismissal:
Parents should not walk students into the building in the morning. As we work to establish routines and build independence, please use the drop-off line and allow students to enter on their own. Adults will be outside to help students as needed. If you arrive after 8:05, please park and come into the office to sign your child in.
At dismissal, adults should remain in their vehicles and use the car pick-up line. Please do not congregate around the building, sidewalks, or exit doors. If you want to meet your child outside of the vehicle, they should be a "walker" and can meet you at the intersection of East & South Streets.
When everyone follows these procedures, drop-off and pick-up should be quick, easy, and safe for everyone. If you have any questions, please contact the elementary office. Thank you for your help, and here’s to a great school year!
