Dear LHS parents and guardians, Please help us celebrate our awesome teachers at LHS next week, (5/7-5/10)! We have set up some themed food days for each day next week. I'm personally going to make some breakfast casseroles for Wednesday and I know the Spiteri family is providing BBQ for Friday the 10th. We could use some help to fill in the gaps. If you are able to supply some food items next week please email Brittnie Grissom at brittnie.grissom@lathropschools.com. Tuesday, 5/7 - bring your favorite sweet Wednesday, 5/8 - bring your favorite finger food/appetizer. Bowers will be supplying breakfast for every one. Thursday - 5/9 - let's do breakfast! Bring your favorite breakfast dish. Alex is bringing Big Al's Donuts from Cameron. Friday- 5/10 - Spiteri BBQ! If others could supply some side dishes that would be awesome! It’s time for the Lathrop School District K-12 Talent Show! The dress rehearsal will be held tomorrow at 4:30 in the Middle School PAC. The talent show performance will be this Thursday, April 18th at 7:00 pm. This will also be in the Middle School PAC and will be open to the public. We look forward to seeing you all on Thursday at 7:00 pm.

11th and 12th grade parents, Tomorrow, 4/9/24, is going to be a little different at LHS. We have 41 juniors/seniors signed up to take the ACT tomorrow morning, but the rest of the junior and senior students will be doing some type of community service for hours 1st through 4th hour. Some of the projects will include, trash pick up around the school, A Hwy, Valley Street, and Park Street. Other projects will include painting fences at the fairgrounds south of town, painting Mule Shoes on the street on Oak Street (the main street of town), organizing the clothes closet at the middle school, and cleaning the high school bleachers. This is our way to give back to the community for always supporting our awesome school district! Students will be transported via a school bus to their assigned location. The start time for the baseball game scheduled for today (April 1), at Savannah, has been moved up to 4pm. Also note, due to construction the closest available parking will be at the Clasbey community center next to the baseball field.
