All School Picture Lathrop Elementary will take our all school picture for the yearbook this Thursday, September 8 at 3:00 on the football field across from the elementary. We are asking that each grade level wear a certain color so it will be easier for students to find themselves in the picture. Copies of the picture are not for sale but a large poster will be put in the elementary entrance. Please do not purchase a shirt for this picture, just have your child wear something similar to the color. Here are the colors we would like each grade level to wear: Preschool, Kindergarten & 3rd grade - White or Gray 1st and 4th grades- Gold or Yellow 2nd and 5th grade- Black

Good afternoon from Lathrop Elementary, We have had a great first day of school so far today! Just a couple reminders/requests: Buses tend to run slower than usual the first few days of school. Please allow 10-15 minutes extra time on afternoon route drop off times. Car pick ups can plan on running 10 minutes later as well. Please try not to line up sooner than 3:50, with 4:00 being an expected pick up time. Our buses use East street to come to the elementary, and if cars are backed up on East street, the buses can't get to our school to pick up students. We must release bus riders, then walkers, then car riders so please help us make this dismissal as smooth as possible by being patient and giving everyone a little grace this first week.
