Today, we take pause to remember the events of 9/11 and the nearly 3000 Americans who perished on this day in 2001. We promise to never forget, and we pledge to make the world a better place in remembrance of those who lost their lives responding to the attacks that day. We usually have some sort of recognition ceremony or lunch planned for our local first responders, but due to concerns with the Corona Virus, we just couldn’t make that happen. We salute our local heroes for their daily commitment to our safety!

Please welcome Special Education Teacher Amber Carver to our LHS staff! Amber graduated from Francis Howell H.S., and attended SEMO and UMKC. She has been married to Chris for 20 years and they have 3 kids who attend LR2, and a puppy named Ella. Amber says being a Mom is her "Favorite thing in the world!" Welcome Mrs. Carver! #RollMules
LR2 is proud to introduce one of our new hires, teacher Cody Wilkerson. Cody attended Kearney H.S. and NWMSU. He will be teaching 3rd grade for us and this is his 2nd year of teaching overall. Cody is a third degree black belt in taekwondo who teaches and trains 4-5 days a week in Kearney! Cody said he's "Super excited to be part of this community!" Welcome Cody! #RollMules
